When you’re facing a transition – whether it’s moving into a better living situation, clearing the home of a loved one who has passed or anything in between – dealing with all the remaining personal items can be overwhelming. I’m Kerri Weller, the owner of Caring Transitions of Kingwood, and I launched this business because, while working with Caring Transitions as a Director of Marketing at an independent living community, I saw the huge difference Caring Transitions made in the lives of our residents and their families. When I had the opportunity to change my career, I decided to bring Caring Transitions to my own community of Kingwood
In addition to my experience with Caring Transitions before opening my own location, I also know what it’s like to be on the other side of the table. When my mom passed away, my sisters and I were at her house every weekend going through the house one item at a time, trying to figure out who wanted to keep what and what we should do with everything else. We just didn’t know what to do with it all. I know, if we had known about Caring Transitions at the time, we would have hired the local franchise to help. It would have saved us countless hours and expenses.
Before opening Caring Transitions of Kingwood, I worked in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years, most recently as Director of Marketing in independent living. My husband, Bill Weller, is also part of this local business. He has 40 years in healthcare service and he served 10 years in the United States Air Force. We are a blended family with 4 married adult children and 8 grandchildren, 4 grand dogs and our little chihuahua LuluBell. We have been residents in the Kingwood area for over 25 years.
At Caring Transitions of Kingwood, my team and I can help with decluttering, organizing, packing, moving, resettling, in-home estate sales and online auctions, estate clearing and preparing homes for market. Our solutions are customizable, so you only pay for the services you need. Caring Transitions of Kingwood serves Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Porter, Porter Heights, Crosby, Huffman, Timberlane, New Caney, Woodbranch and the surrounding areas.
Often people are ready to move on, but not knowing what to do with their stuff stops them in their tracks. Caring Transitions bridges that gap, we take the stress away so you can focus on being with your family and moving forward. I’m excited to be in a position to make a difference for the people here in my own community as the owner of Caring Transitions of Kingwood.
